Why Sports Massage? 

Sports massages are a great maintenance therapy to correct problems and imbalances caused from repetitive and strenuous physical activity and/or trauma. Treatments can also be tailored prior to exercise to stretch and warm up the muscles - enhancing performance, aiding in recovery and preventing injury. Post workout, a sports massage can reduce soreness and increase rate of recovery.  

A full case history will be taken to gain an understanding of your needs and how sports massage techniques can be applied to reach your desired outcome. Any specific symptoms and problems will be discussed at this time to ensure sports massage is the right therapy for you. Massage will then take place using a variety of techniques and pressures adapted to your body’s needs.

At the end of your treatment, a comparative assessment may take place. You will be advised on any further stretching or strengthening you can do to further improve your body’s function.
